I currently only have a BS in management and some Auto-cad Drafting classes under my belt. I was thinking of getting a Masters in EngMgt, majoring in project management or Lean Manufacturing. My company has a tuition reimbursement program.
Management degrees for Engineers are worthwhile if they are part-time and paid for by the employer.
Normally, only Engineers with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering are eligible for a Master’s in Engineering Management.
There are so-called MSIT degrees in Industrial Technology (or MSIM—Industrial Management), which do not require an Engineering Bachelor’s. These degrees are offered by schools accredited by NAIT/ATMAE.
